2011 Fall Class Schedule

Hi everyone!

We are excited to share our 2011 Fall Class Schedule with you. We have a TON of new classes, guest instructors, and new techniques to share with you. One of the beading types we have always been a bit afraid of, are those beautiful seed bead weaving projects. But guess what? We finally found some projects and instructors that helped us overcome our fear of seed beads! They are MUCH easier to work with than we thought, and the pieces are absolutely stunning. We are in the process of taking all of the “official” class example photos, but we wanted to give you a few sneak peek photos of whats to come. Please check the website next week, when we’ll have all of the class example photos posted. We will also have the examples in our store display case, if you’d like to see them in person. Chains, Chains, Chains!: Sat. Sept. 17^{t h} 9:00am – 10:30am $35.00 plus materials Level of class: Intermediate , Beginners class required (class materials list and tools required) There is nothing hotter than multiple strands of different types of chains. Learn to corral these exciting mixes into just the look you want! Minimum students – 2

Stamped Pendants: Wed. Sept. 21^st 6:00pm – 7:30pm $35.00 plus materials Level of class: Intermediate, Beginners Class helpful but not required (class materials kit and tools required) Create personalized pendants with the names of your children, words of inspiration or whatever you hold dear to your heart.We have the stamping tools for you to use in this class and will provide the guidance you need to achieve clear results in this hands on class. Minimum students – 2

Leather &Bead Wrapped Bracelet: Thurs. Sept. 22^nd 6:00pm -7:30pm $35.00 plus materials Level of class: Beginner (class materials list) These are so in style right now! You’ve seen them in the magazines, now make one for yourself! Multi wrapped leather and beaded bracelets. Great casual look, and a wonderful gift to make! Minimum students – 2

Beginners Jewelry Making: Sat. Sept. 24^rd 9:00am – 11:00am $20.00 plus materials (class materials kit and tools required) You’ve seen everyone else do it, now it’s time to learn for yourself! This class will cover everything you need to know to make your own jewelry! You will learn to make necklaces, bracelets, and 2 types of earrings in this hands-on class. You will leave with a bracelet and two pairs of earrings made by YOU!

*Statement Cluster Necklace: Mon. Sept. 26^th 4:00pm – 5:30pm $35.00 plus materials Level of class: Intermediate, Beginners Class required. (class materials kit and tools required) Make a statement with this bold and unique design in your favorite semi-precious stones! Using a fun stringing technique, irregular shaped stones are used to create a captivating cluster at the center of this necklace, that’s sure to get attention! Minimum students – 2

*Woven Bead Bracelet: Tues. Sept. 27^th 6:00pm – 8:00pm $35.00 plus materials Level of class: Beginner (class materials kit and tools required) They look so delicate and complicated, but are really easy to make! Come let us show you how! Perfect for the holidays! Minimum students – 2

Pearl Knotting: Wed. Sept 28^th 5:30pm – 7:00pm $35.00 plus materials Level of class: Intermediate (class materials list and tools required) There is nothing more classic than a knotted strand of pearls. This class will teach you how to knot pearls (and stones, glass, or any types of beads) with cord and bead tips. You will leave class with a completed pearl bracelet! Minimum students – 2

You will work on your wire wrapping skills on this multimedia project. Minimum students – 2

Tiaras!: Tues. Oct. 11^{t h} 6:00pm – 7:30pm $35.00 plus materials Level of class: Intermediate, Beginners Class helpful (class materials list and tools required) Whimsical and fun or sparkly and romantic, tiaras are every girl’s dream. Come learn the structure and technique behind making your very own in this hands on class. Great for Halloween too! Minimum students – 2

*Team Tassels/Fan Up Fan Pulls: Wed. Oct. 12^th 6:00pm – 7:30pm $35.00 plus materials Level of class: Intermediate, Beginners Class helpful (class materials kit and tools required) Show your team colors! Tassels are such great fun whether on jewelry, pillows or a southern favorite…. fan pulls. Minimum students – 2

Wrapping & Working with Briolettes: Sat. Oct.22^th 10:00am -11:30am $35.00 plus materials Level of class: Intermediate, Beginners Class required. (class kit and tools required) Briolettes are everywhere! (Top drilled beads/stones) Learn the ins and outs of working with these beautiful beads. We will cover making a wire wrapped bail, the honeycomb bail, and making a wrapped link. Minimum students – 2

*Basic Spiral Stitch Bracelet: Mon. Oct. 24^th 5:00pm -7:00pm $35.00 plus materials Level of class: Beginner (class materials list and tools required) Always wanted to learn seed bead weaving? Well this is a great place to start! This quick and easy stitch will make a pro out of you in no time. Minimum students – 2.

Steam Punk Jewelry: Wed. Oct 26^{t h} 6:00pm – 7:30pm $35.00 plus materials Level of class: Intermediate, Beginners Class required (class materials list and tools required) Techno Romantic, H. G. Wells inspired, youthful edgy looks run thru these designs. Minimum students – 2

Wire Wrapping Pendants & Stones: Thurs. Oct. 27^th 6:00 -7:30pm $35.00 plus materials Level of class: Intermediate, Beginners Class required. (class materials list and tools required) Spectacular and professionally crafted, this is how you want your pieces to look! This instructional and hands on class will teach you how to transform a stone, bead or cabochon into a pendant. Minimum students – 2.

*Semi-Precious Lace: Sat. Oct.29^th 9:00am -11:00am $35.00 plus materials Level of class: Intermediate (class kit and tools required) Another stunning woven bracelet but this time featuring semi-precious stones. Intricately woven with seed beads, the bracelet looks like lace draped over your wrist. Minimum students – 2

*Crystal Infused Right Angle Weave Bracelet: Wed. Nov. 2^nd 6:00pm – 8:00pm $35.00 plus materials Level of class: Intermediate (class materials list and tools required) This stunning delicate bracelet will be so rewarding to make! Simple bead weaving techniques are used to create this sparkling bracelet. Seed beading is easy and addictive! Make a wide, comfortable, dazzling bracelet with seed beads and crystals. Using crystals, pearls or semi-precious stones you will create one decade of the rosary that can be worn as a bracelet. Makes a great gift for Christmas, First Communion and Confirmations.
